NEW YORK FINANCE TRIP

Brown Women in Business’ annual finance trip is one of our most popular off-campus excursions of the year. Selected WIB members visit some of Wall Street’s top finance firms in-person and more authentically get to know both the people and the different career paths within them. In 2023, our WIB members visited with Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, and Bank of America. Each offered a short panel, Q&A session, and networking session, and food.

JCREW VISIT

WIB academy is a semester-long, cohort-based program geared towards underclassmen interested in learning more about the different facets of business. Modeled after Harvard’s WIBternship, this program will be entirely student-led and organized thematically every week.

BOSTON CONSULTING FIRMS VISIT

The WIB Consulting Trip is an opportunity for women at Brown to visit top consulting firms in-person and more authentically get to know the people, company culture, and different career paths within them. This past year, selected members visited the offices of Bain, McKinsey, and Deloitte for short panels, Q&A sessions, and networking sessions. Firms also provided members with a selection of Bostonian food.

WAYFAIR VISIT

The Wayfair trip in Boston, MA provided the opportunity for members of WIB interested in technology, engineering, and their intersections with business to visit Wayfair HQ for an hour-long event. The excursion consisted of an office tour, networking session, and information session on recruiting, company culture, and work at Wayfair.
