In partnership, WIB volunteers support the food distribution through the packing of food into boxes, separating and bagging produce, and loading food boxes into families trucks.

Refugee Dream Center: WIB x Youth Mentoring Program

The Refugee Dream Center is a "home away from home for refugees." Offering multiple services to receive refugees and fill gaps in refugee resettlement, providing services and programs to ensure refugee self-reliance and self-sufficiency.

The Youth Mentoring Program aims to connect young adults and teenagers with WIB mentors who can offer guidance on different topics, including college, careers, and future goals. This initiative is designed to support and empower young individuals as they go through crucial transitions, and personal and academic journeys.

FARM FRESH

Farm Fresh aims to create a sustainable food system in the New England region by supporting local farmers and producers, reducing waste, and increasing access to fresh, local food through community programs and markets.

Working closely with the Farm Fresh community, WIB is assisting in essential projects, including social media content creation for their year-round farmers market and business tenants at their primary facility, which include New Harvest Coffee Roasters, Tallulah’s Taqueria, Anchor Toffee, Wright's Creamery and others. Alongside this, WIB is working with Farm Fresh’s Harvest Kitchen to create a financial literacy curriculum to teach essential topics ranging from smart money habits, saving, interest, budgeting, credit, investing, and the finances that revolve around higher education.

Through such events, we—in strong partnership with Farm Fresh—hope to create a brighter and more sustainable future for all!
